Our Checks poplin is crafted from 100% organic cotton and printed by hand in Sanganer, Jaipur, India using traditional block printing techniques and azo-free dyes. We love how the natural variation in these designs showcases the hand-crafted nature of block printing. Lightweight with a smooth, crisp hand, this organic cotton poplin is a dream to wear and easy to sew!

Super versatile, we love this block print for quilted jackets and vests for layering, as well as billowy dresses, button ups, & comfy loungewear sets. These colour combinations were custom printed exclusively for Blackbird Fabrics and will fade beautifully into a soft vintage look with wash and wear.

Due to the handcrafted nature of this fabric, there may be colour and print variations within the yardage. 

Please note that due to the dyeing process, these fabrics may have a distinct odour that will dissipate after wash & wear. We recommend adding a cup of white vinegar when pre-washing your fabric to help neutralize the smell.
